Our #OneGift campaign

Did you know that across the 3 boroughs in which we’re based, over 5,500 children will be spending Christmas living with their families in temporary accommodation? We want to donate gifts to at least 1000 of these children and their parents. By donating a gift, you could make all the difference and create lasting memories for a child who is living in very challenging circumstances. Read on to find out how to get involved.

How does it work?

It’s very simple to get involved. If you want to buy a gift, please think about an appropriate present for a child from newborn to age 5, and then either bring it or post it to your chosen branch by 7th December. You can also purchase a gift to be delivered directly to us from our wishlists for Camden and for Wandsworth.

If you’re short of ideas, why don’t you check out this brilliant list of ideas from the always-inspiring Five Minute Mum?

We’d love you to wrap the gift if you can. Or feel free to donate us some recyclable wrapping paper or reusable gift bags.

And finally we would really like to be able to give a gift to the parents too. We see how hard it is to keep family life going on so little and we would love to ensure they all have a treat to enjoy as well at this time of year.

All I can say is that they were overwhelmed. It seemed that everyone got just the right thing.
