Get support

If you’re raising kids on a low income, Little Village can supply you with clothes, toys, books and equipment for your children up to the age of 5.

How does it work?

If you’re struggling for money, on a low income, and worrying about how you will provide for your children, then we will soon be able to help.

However, until we are up and running in Southwark, you will need to be referred to our nearest branch in Wandsworth. Talk to your support worker and ask them to help, as you will need to be referred to us by someone like a midwife, family support worker, health visitor, food bank, social worker, or Children’s Centre.

If they haven’t heard of us, show them this website and ask them to look at the ‘make a referral’ page – they can make the referral immediately.

You come to see us, where you’ll be able to relax with a drink, snack, and choose the items you’d like for your children. Everything at Little Village is free – it has been donated by other local families. We only accept very high quality items.

You are welcome to take all your items that day. We always ask you to take care of the things you select, and if they’re still great quality when you’ve finished with them, you can bring them back so another family can be supported.

“Little village are all amazing and I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for me and my baby x they gave me hope to know I can be the mum I want to be. They are amazing and all so loving and caring”
