The Duchess of Cambridge and the Royal Foundation have unveiled the findings of the biggest ever study on the early years.
Commenting on the research findings, Sophia Parker, Chief Executive of Little Village said:
“The findings of this important study underline how hard it is for parents to ask for help when they have young children. That’s especially true for parents who are trapped in poverty, who often talk of how they feel judged for their situation. Our mission at Little Village is to make it as easy as possible to ask for help, and to invite the families we support to become part of a community of parents helping other parents. Having a child is tough at the best of times. This research shows how crucial it is that we build up the support structures around families with young children so that all kids have the best possible start in life.”
