Volunteer with us
Volunteers are Little Village’s lifeblood – we couldn’t support families without them. The 1212 people, of all ages, who made up our community in 2022 bring both solidarity and kindness to our work. It’s a brilliant way to meet new people, to learn new skills, and to make a real and direct difference in your local community. We offer volunteering opportunities to both individuals and corporate teams at our sites in Tooting, Balham, Roehampton, Kings Cross, Wembley, Hackney and Hounslow.

Individual volunteering
If you want to make a real difference in your community, there are lots of different ways you can volunteer with us. Apart from helping other families, we know that there are so many positive benefits to volunteering, including getting out of the house and meeting new people in a fun and friendly environment, learning new skills and gaining confidence and self-esteem. We know how busy life can be, so we have many flexible volunteering options available. We have Saturday family volunteering sessions available in Tooting and Brent that you can bring children along to. Some of our opportunities involve:
Volunteering at one of our sites, sorting donations and packing up gift bundles for families
Driving stock and delivering items to families
Remote roles (for example, stock sorting at home, telephone liaison)

Corporate team volunteering
We love to host corporate volunteering sessions, which are safe, fun, satisfying and productive. Getting groups of staff to volunteer together builds skills, such as teamwork, communications and negotiation. And it shows your staff and potential employees that you’re a company who cares. Volunteering with us helps us to reach more families. And it helps your team members to learn more about their local community and understand what it means to give kids a great start in life.
