What will I be doing as a volunteer?

This is an on-site volunteering role – working at one of our hubs Baby Bank Helpers meet, greet and welcome families to the site, helping them to understand how we can help them and helping them to select the items they need for their family, and signposting to local information that might be helpful.

When can I volunteer?

That very much depends on where you’d like to volunteer. Each of our sites run slightly different times and days but mostly between 9.30am – 16:00 within the week. There are also a few evening sessions, running from 19:00 – 21:30.

Where can I volunteer?

We have family shops in Camden (Warren Street), Brent (Wembley Central), Tooting (High Street).

How often will I volunteer?

As we’re a relatively small charity still, help from our volunteers really is invaluable, so we ask volunteers to sign-up for a regular shift either weekly or fortnightly. We plan many of our activities each week based on who is coming in, so this means a regular shift is the most useful to us.
