Pick and Pack
Our Pick and Pack team are based in one of our lively baby banks. Together we sort, check, and prepare pre-loved items for children. Volunteers create high-quality bundles of toys, clothes, and equipment to gift to families.
What will I be doing?
- Get to know each child using details we provide to select items they’ll love
- Create beautiful packages of clothes, toys and books with love and care
- Check donated pre-loved items, so that they are all of gift quality
- Organise checked items by gender, age, and type
- Make smaller gift packs e.g., underwear, socks, bibs and linen
- Safety check and clean buggies and cots, when needed
- Greet and thank people arriving with donations of pre-loved items
- Help loading and unloading gifts and stock for delivery
- Act in a non-judgmental, inclusive and loving way
What do I need for this role?
- Attention to detail
- Able to carry out light manual tasks (or chat with us about reasonable adjustments)
- A smile and a pair of comfy shoes

Other info:
- Our Baby Banks are located in Brent (Wembley Central), Camden (Warren Street) and Tooting Broadway
- We ask you to join us for a a minimum of 2-hour shift, either weekly or fortnightly
- No experience needed, we will book an induction session and you’re ready to go!
