We're Hiring: Product Manager

The profile of baby banks has never been higher, nor the need for our services by families and children across London. Do you have what it takes to help transform the IT systems and processes of Little Village so we can become more efficient at what we do and reach more children with the things they desperately need.

We’ve grown to be one of the largest ‘baby banks’ in the UK, supporting over 25,000 children since we launched in 2016 – including over 7,000 children in 2022 alone.

Little Village relies on technology to run. We’re looking for a Product Manager to play a key role in implementing tech improvements identified in our recent tech review. You will have responsibility for our entire digital footprint, from designing and delivering new tools to enhancing how the charity works across its entire operating model and for all users.

As the Product Manager, you will have ownership of all our digital products, including front-end tools, websites, Salesforce or other CMS platforms, APIs, and platform integrations. Alongside managing the delivery plan, you will also oversee service design to ensure an exceptional user experience.

You will be the bridge between organisational goals, user needs and budgetary constraints, ensuring the successful delivery of new processes using technology. Your expertise will be vital in overseeing the design of end-to-end user journeys, catering to referral partners, kit donors, volunteers, staff, donors and stakeholders.

We think this role requires 28 hours per week, but we’re open to discussions about flexibility. The salary is £60,000 (FTE) gross. The successful candidate will require a DBS check.

About Little Village

Little Village has 57 employees who work across our hubs and our network team and ensure that our operations and programmes effectively meet the needs of the families we support. We pride ourselves in offering flexible working, enabling our team to combine meaningful work with time for family and other interests.

Our dream is that every child in the capital has the essential things they need to thrive, and that everyone can play a part in achieving that goal.

If you are passionate about tackling child poverty, motivated by Little Village’s values of Love, Solidarity, Thriving and Sustainability and believe in our model of bringing families together to help each other, then this role could be just right for you.

We are working towards a goal where our team fully reflects that diversity and difference in lived experiences and strongly encourage applications from under-represented groups including: people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, people with lived experience of poverty either personally or through family, experience of the care system, non-graduates and first-in-family graduates. As part of our commitment to fairer recruitment, all applications will be assessed without names and any protected characteristics.

The deadline is 4 January 2024 at 9am.
