We are aware that family relationships can get strained during this time. If you or your children are feeling unsafe though, it is acceptable to leave your home. These organisations can help with advice on how to keep you and your children safe if you are worried.
If you cannot afford to buy food, you can get help from a foodbank near you. You can find your nearest foodbank run by the Trussel Trust on this website: https://www.trusselltrust.org/get-help/find-a-foodbank/
They can’t be used if you’re self-isolating and just can’t get out to buy food, but can provide help if you cannot afford to feed your family.
There are lots of new groups set up to help connect communities to support each other during the Coronavirus pandemic. You can post on your local group to ask members of the community to help with specific items. Find your local group here:

It’s really important that we keep physically and mentally healthy during this time, even though we’re staying in.
