Give a child warmth and joy this festive season

Every hour throughout December, three more babies will be born into poverty in London. Take a second to think about that. This should not be happening in one of the world’s wealthiest cities.

Christmas should be a magical time for every child. Yet this year, thousands of families with babies and young children, the festive period is filled with worry rather than excitement.

Donate below to give a child the essentials they need this winter and for their parents to get the support they need, when they need it most.

Cosy night bundles

In our baby banks, we meet parents who are making impossible choices between heating their homes, buying nappies, or putting food on the table. When money is stretched to breaking point, presents, books, and festive treats simply aren’t an option.

If you have items you’d love to donate, the our festive wish list will help us to give children and babies a cosy bathtime and bedtime:

  • Kids toiletries (new or unopened)
  • Baby or children’s towels
  • Pyjamas and sleepsuits
  • Blankets or sleeping bags for babies
  • Bedding like sheets for cribs, cots or cot beds
  • Moses baskets

"It's scary having a newborn in the winter, I was scared that I didn't have enough layers, my flat was freezing and I was worried about putting the heating on because costs keeps going up. As a mum you deal with it when you're cold but they're so little they're vulnerable and it's really scary worrying about them."
