We’re Hiring: Resourcing Coordinator

Our dream is that every child in the capital has the essential things they need to thrive, and that everyone can play a part in achieving that goal.

Are you passionate about tackling child poverty and motivated by Little Village’s values of Love, Solidarity, Thriving and Sustainability? Do you believe in our model of bringing families together to help each other? Would you enjoy working in an environment of a small, ambitious and relatively new organisation?

We’ve grown to be one of the largest ‘baby banks’ in the UK, with over 60 employees supporting more than 25,000 children since we launched in 2016 – including more than 8,500 children in 2023 alone.

We couldn’t do what we do without our dedicated staff, so we are now recruiting for a Resourcing Coordinator to support the recruitment process within our People team. As Resourcing Coordinator, you will work across the full recruitment cycle, helping us to provide an excellent candidate experience from sourcing to applications to interviews and beyond.

We’re looking for someone to work 20-25 hours per week, but we are open to discussions about flexibility. We can’t promise to give you exactly what you want, but we do promise not to judge you for asking. The salary is £27,000 – £29,000 (FTE) gross per annum, and the role will be offered on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 6 months. The successful candidate will require a DBS check.

We are working towards a goal where our team fully reflects that diversity and difference in lived experiences and strongly encourage applications from under-represented groups including: people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, people with lived experience of poverty either personally or through family, experience of the care system, non-graduates and first-in-family graduates. As part of our commitment to fairer recruitment, all applications will be assessed without names and any protected characteristics.

The deadline is 11th July 2024 at 9am. You can find out more about the role here: Resourcing Co-ordinator June 2024 and apply using this online application form.
