Pay
All our salaries are paid at or above the London Living Wage. We participate in salary surveys and carry out benchmarking exercises against external organisations of a similar size to ensure that our salaries are competitive and that our employees are fairly compensated for their work.
Company Pension Scheme
If eligible to join the pension scheme, we match your contributions by 3%.
Training & Development
All staff receive relevant and role-specific training and we encourage staff to seek out development opportunities which interest them.
Sick Pay
All staff are entitled to a period of sick leave at full pay regardless of length of service.
Death in Service
Everyone employed by Little Village is entitled to Death in Service benefit. It entitles the staff member’s next of kin to 3 times their salary in the event of their death while employed at Little Village.
Annual Flu Jab
Little Village will reimburse staff for the cost of a flu jab annually.
Eye Tests
We will reimburse staff for the cost of an eye test, and contribute towards the cost of glasses or contact lenses for computer work if required.
Employee Assistance Programme
We provide an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) with a 24-hour help line that offers confidential, short-term counselling and a follow up service to help you with personal and work-related problems. The service is free of charge, completely confidential and available to both staff and their family members.
Flexible Working
Many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time and term-time working patterns. We’re always open to discussing flexibility to support employees in balancing their professional responsibilities with family and other commitments outside of work.
Annual Leave
Staff are entitled to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for those who work less than 35 hours per week). We usually give the team time off between Christmas and New Year, which doesn’t come off your allowance.
Discounts & Rewards
All staff have access to Rewards Gateway, which offers discount vouchers with a number of retailers, health, mindfulness, fitness and financial planning resources. We’re also registered with Tickets for Good, who offer free and discounted tickets to live sports, theatre and music events.
Menopause Support
We run a support group open to all staff to discuss menopause, share experiences and tips.
Enhanced Family-Forming Policies
We offer enhanced family friendly policies including Maternity, Paternity, Shared Parental Leave and Adoption pay. Our Fertility Policy is designed to support employees during fertility investigations and treatment. We are also accredited with the Empowered Foundations programme, with all of our line managers trained to support employees in their reproductive health journey.
