Supermodel and philanthropist, Natalia Vodianova, visited Little Village baby bank in Somers Town, Camden on Thursday 3rd December. The visit was organised through Locals, which is an app started by the supermodel, which brings people together for good causes.
Natalia and a team of volunteers helped regular volunteers from the baby bank to pack bundles of essential items for families going through tough times. She spent time carefully choosing donated items, including warm winter clothing, nappies, toiletries and toys for a family who have three children under five.
Sophie Livingstone MBE, Little Village’s CEO, said:
“It was really exciting to welcome Natalia and the other Locals volunteers to Little Village Camden. We told them all about our work, including our Christmas appeal, which aims to provide gift vouchers for 5000 babies and young children.
“She seemed to really enjoy her time with us and spent a long time carefully putting together the bundle of items for the family. We pride ourselves on the items we pass on to families as being gifts, not handouts.”
